🇪🇸 Teniendo tan presentes discos en el Metal Progresivo tan buenos y destacados, me ha sorprendido la inclusión de la banda brasileña, Heretic.
Lo sorprendente es que traen en cierta medida el oriente a su música, sorpresivamente porque la cuna innata que llevan los brasileños es una base universal, musicalmente hablando y sin embargo abogan por abordar otras fronteras con un estilo único y aplicando incontables matices a través de sintetizadores, tanpura, oud y sitar que ofrece un estilo celestial.
Heretic no surca caminos dulces, sino que busca un asalto mucho más áspero, más heavy, más duro y potente que quizás los pueda acercar más a Orphaned Land, pero sacando un lado mucho más groove del estilo.
La banda ofrece un gran disco de más de 40 minutos y 9 temas que si te dejas llevar, te dejarán una sensación heroica.

🇬🇧 With so many excellent and outstanding Progressive Metal albums on the list, the inclusion of the Brazilian band Heretic has surprised me.
What's surprising is that they bring a certain Eastern influence to their music, which is surprising because Brazilians are inherently rooted in a universal musical foundation, yet they strive to explore other musical frontiers with a unique style, applying countless nuances through synthesizers, tanpura, oud, and sitar, creating a celestial sound.
Heretic doesn't tread a gentle path; instead, they pursue a much harsher, heavier, harder, and more powerful assault, perhaps bringing them closer to Orphaned Land, but with a much groovier side to the genre.
The band delivers a great album of over 40 minutes and 9 tracks that, if you let yourself go, will leave you with a heroic feeling.
