🇪🇸 Tranquilidad, nostalgia, magia y un gran sinfín de sensaciones me traslada la banda @Derev cuyos orígenes del Middle East aporta una visión mucho más amplia y una percepción muy particular del mundo en su concepción musical.

Bases muy amplias, alargues de notas y desarrollos que invitan a la tranquilidad y a disfrutar de la magia y de una atmósfera tan especial como cercana.

Detalles árabes y armenios que sin duda marcan el camino bien trazado por la banda siempre dentro de un entorno progresivo elegante y bien elaborado con esos toques de percusión tan palpables y localizables que acercan esa parte del mundo tan mágica.

Dentro del disco que incluye 8 temas y poco más de 40 minutos la banda nos invita a recorrer ese punto emocional que las texturas, la guitarra y los detalles te hacen sentir, provocando un estado verdadero de paz y sensibilidad inmerso dentro de los juegos que en cada composición pone la banda.

Destacar la percusión que realmente siempre es mi aliado en cualquier composición y de manera muy personal esa voz que de manera magistral se convierte en un narrador que te conduce fielmente por cada tema, y por último no quería dejarme atrás a la necesidad que encuentro en la guitarra para acercar su punto de vista tan único.

Podría asemejarse a bandas como Opeth o Porcupine Tree pero creo que la realidad de la banda es otra mucho más personal y amplia que la de estas otras bandas.

🇬🇧 🇬🇧 Tranquility, nostalgia, magic, and a myriad of sensations are conveyed by the band @Derev, whose Middle Eastern origins bring a much broader vision and a very particular perception of the world to their musical conception.

Very broad bases, note extensions, and developments invite tranquility and the enjoyment of magic and an atmosphere as special as it is intimate.

Arabic and Armenian details undoubtedly mark the path well-charted by the band, always within an elegant and well-crafted progressive environment with those palpable and localized touches of percussion that bring that magical part of the world closer.

Within the album, which includes 8 tracks and just over 40 minutes, the band invites us to explore that emotional point that the textures, the guitar, and the details make you feel, provoking a true state of peace and sensitivity immersed within the interplay the band brings to each composition. 

I want to highlight the percussion, which is always my ally in any composition, and, on a very personal level, that voice, which masterfully becomes a narrator that faithfully guides you through each song. 

Finally, I didn't want to forget the need I find in the guitar to convey its unique point of view.

It could be compared to bands like Opeth or Porcupine Tree, but I think the band's reality is much more personal and broader than that of these other bands.
