🇪🇸 No se como clasificar esta gran obra maestra que @AsherMedia me ha hecho llegar de la banda canadiense @TheAphelion, simplemente una joya.

Estructuralmente se trata de 8 temas que navegan por sonidos novedosos dentro del rock y el metal y si de inicios me he sentido identificado con esas notas oscuras del metal donde el doom o incluso esa parte black del metal más inocente por así decirlo o porque no, pasar a grupos como Paradise Lost pero para que puedas hacerte una idea porque en absoluto son parecidos a ellos.

Creo que aparecen notas de los 70 y de aquellos teclados que originariamente exportaban grandes sonidos donde el rock progresivo culmina en grupos como Rush, Pink Floyd o incluso Jethro Tull, llevándonos a la nueva parte donde el metal nos lleva a entornos increíbles con sonidos, cambios de ritmo y haciendo magia de manera celestial como Dream Theater o bandas menos icónicas como Opeth.

He disfrutado como un enano como hacía tanto tiempo que un disco de esta magnitud no me pegaba, invitándome a hacer escucha tras escucha y divagar por esos recorridos del mástil, tanto de la guitarra como más profundamente del bajo.

Sin duda el nivel de teclados, piano o incluso la batería te llevaran a un segundo nivel donde fluyen las sensaciones y la construcción de la atmósfera te sumerge aportando un color especial esa voz que sin necesidad de llegar a una octava mucho más alta, te engancha y te hace cerrar los ojos y simplemente, disfrutar.

En un género como el progresivo, la banda tiene que estar realmente orgullosa porque dan en el clavo en cuanto al escenario que crean y la sentimentalidad que aportan dejando una huella muy presente.

Qué decir, que se quedan en mi biblioteca de manera atemporal, simplemente exquisitos.

Structurally it is about 8 songs that navigate through new sounds within rock and metal and if at the beginning I have felt identified with those dark notes of metal where doom or even that black part of the most innocent metal so to speak or why not, move on to groups like Paradise Lost but so that you can get an idea because they are not at all similar to them.

I think that notes from the 70s appear and from those keyboards that originally exported great sounds where progressive rock culminates in groups like Rush, Pink Floyd or even Jethro Tull, taking us to the new part where metal takes us to incredible environments with sounds, changes of rhythm and making magic in a heavenly way like Dream Theater or less iconic bands like Opeth.

I have enjoyed it like a dwarf, as it has been so long since an album of this magnitude had suited me, inviting me to listen after listen and wander through those paths of the neck, both on the guitar and more deeply on the bass.

Without a doubt, the level of keyboards, piano or even the drums will take you to a second level where the sensations flow and the construction of the atmosphere immerses you, providing a special color to that voice that, without needing to reach a much higher octave, hooks you and makes you close your eyes and simply enjoy.

In a genre like progressive, the band has to be really proud because they hit the nail on the head in terms of the scenario they create and the sentimentality they bring, leaving a very present mark.

What can I say, they remain in my library in a timeless way, simply exquisite.
