No es Noruega ni Finlandia y ni siquiera Estados Unidos, se trata de la esperanzadora banda @orion_child que desde el norte de España pone en liza una mezcla de estilos claramente rompedora.
Se abren hueco en el panorama con una fuerza arrolladora tratando de aunar el Power Metal de corte más potente con un Death Metal antológico cuya unión podríamos decir que a priori no cautivaría pero que escuchando el disco detenidamente es increiblemente impactante.
Una buena voz junto a esa voz más dura, oscura y con registros Death hacen la delicia de los oídos y dejan aflorar los matices más esenciales del Power Metal de una manera muy elegante.
Que decir de la batería, bufff, se mueve en unos registros que rinden de manera excelsa aportando muchísimo color y calor a ritmo de doble bombo, un oasis impactante.
A nivel melódico, guitarra, bajo y teclados suponen la parte necesaria que aportan toques muy personales con sonidos francamente potentes y arrolladores.
Si a todo esto le unes los aportes de dos grandes del panorama y por los que tengo especial predilección creo que redondeas la cuadratura del círculo, se trata de Ronnie Romero, con esa voz tan característica siempre aportando y Pedro Monge dando color a otro de los temas.
Sin duda un discazo de cabo a rabo con 10 temazos innovadores.
No dejes pasar la oportunidad de escucharlo.
It's not Norway or Finland or even the United States, it's about the hopeful band @orion_child that from the north of Spain puts into play a clearly groundbreaking mix of styles.
They make a space for themselves in the scene with an overwhelming force trying to unite the most powerful Power Metal with an anthological Death Metal whose union we could say that a priori would not captivate but that listening to the album carefully is incredibly impressive.
A good voice together with that harder, darker voice with Death registers delight the ears and let the most essential nuances of Power Metal emerge in a very elegant way.
What to say about the drums, bufff, they move in registers that perform excellently, providing a lot of color and heat to the rhythm of double bass drum, an impressive oasis.
On a melodic level, guitar, bass and keyboards are the necessary part that provide very personal touches with frankly powerful and overwhelming sounds.
If you add to all this the contributions of two greats of the scene and for whom I have a special predilection, I think you have squared the circle, it is Ronnie Romero, with that characteristic voice always contributing and Pedro Monge giving color to another of the songs.
Without a doubt a great album from start to finish with 10 innovative songs.
