Adoptar todo lo que suena bien tiene un riesgo bárbaro porque creo que es extremadamente difícil llegar a u ir todo de manera "ordenada" y que no suena a pinceladas de aquí y allá.
Un caso excepcional es la banda finlandesa @kickthegiantofficial Kick The Giant con un discazo, Presence, en el que me he topado con un Rock Progresivo y algunos toques de Metal Progresivo increíbles.
Se trata de un discazo que no puedes dejar pasar porque tiene toques de AOR, Hard Rock, sonidos stoner, teclados con sonidos muy power metal, ritmos vertiginosos, melodías, cambios de ritmo y una sensación increíble que te mantiene expectante ante el siguiente tema.
Confluyen musicalmente una amalgama tal de pedacitos de cada género musical que hacen que cualquiera de los temas pueda pellizcar en algún momento.

Adopting everything that sounds good is a huge risk because I think it is extremely difficult to get everything to go in an "orderly" way that doesn't sound like brushstrokes here and there.
An exceptional case is the Finnish band @kickthegiantofficial Kick The Giant with a great album, Presence, in which I have encountered Progressive Rock and some incredible touches of Progressive Metal.
It is a great album that you cannot miss because it has touches of AOR, Hard Rock, stoner sounds, keyboards with very power metal sounds, dizzying rhythms, melodies, changes of rhythm and an incredible feeling that keeps you expectant for the next song.
Musically, such an amalgam of bits of each musical genre comes together that any of the songs can pinch at some point.
