La banda británica celebra 50 años de existencia con un nuevo disco, dejando atrás aquel icono de la NWOBHM o las partes mas Glam o más Hevay Metal pesado para orientarse dentro de un género más amplio, el Hard Rock o incluso toques AOR.
Los hermanos Troy nunca han perdido la esencia de unos buenos acordes, un buen trabajo melódico y sobre todo una magia especial a la hora de componer.
En esta ocasión los más de 45 minutos dan para que Praying Mantis te dejen un estupendo sabor de boca acercándose más al género hardrockero actual incluso haciendo una cober del tema "I Surrender" que tanto jugo le sacó Rainbow en los 80.
Un disco que más allá de lo que pudieras esperar cercano a la NWOBHM, deja atrás esos sonidos y acerca quizás más su sonido al haberse asentado y redondear 50 años de existencia siendo menos osados, sonando más finos y elegantes.

On this occasion, the more than 45 minutes are enough for Praying Mantis to leave you with a wonderful taste in your mouth, getting closer to the current hard rock genre, even covering the song "I Surrender" that Rainbow got so much juice out of in the 80s.
An album that, beyond what you might expect to be close to NWOBHM, leaves those sounds behind and perhaps brings its sound closer to having settled and rounded off 50 years of existence being less daring, sounding finer and more elegant.
