Okultos Okultos 🇪🇸 Heavy Metal Ha sido un placer encontrarme con este disco de los andaluces Okultos con cierto sabor noventero y un camino que sigue la estela de la banda alemana Accept. Tiene las bases del Heavy metal español que triunfó en España, con influencias más ochenteras como Rainbow o más noventeras como Saratoga, la verdad es que el abanico es bastante amplio sonando de manera estupenda. Me he quedado prendado porque incluso los arreglos le dan un punto nostálgico en esos sonidos de las guitarras. Me encantaría seguir viendo este estilo en las bandas del panorama actual que tanto disfrutábamos años atrás. Scavenger Beyond The Bells 🇧🇪 Heavy Metal La primera canción presenta una declaración ion de intenciones increíble porque me suena a Metallica y AC/DC en la misma canción y no se lo que me deparará los casi 40 minutos del disco. Los siguientes acordes me llaman la atención porque se encaminan en la dirección de un Heavy Metal notable del veterano grupo brlga Scavenger. Esas notas que aunaba la NWOBHM con ese Speed Metal que con suma elegancia abundaban en Europa a finales de los 80 y principios de los 90 abriendo la concepción del Heavy Metal. Los 9 temas tienen un hilo de referencia y creo que se trata de Judas Priest aunque trabajándolo con una voz femenina que saca matices notables de empuje, garra y osadía al frente. Buen material el que despliegan los belgas, a disfrutar!!! Ian Highhill Gallows 🇫🇮 Hard Rock / Heavy Metal I have fallen in love with the first bars that have reminded me of that Heart song, that classic "Barracuda", approaching a classic Hard Rock path, with NWOBHM-style Heavy Metal and very clear influences, first of all I find it incredible and exalted the place that Black Sabbath must assume, whose presence is notable through the melody and setting of each of the songs, with a special nod to Dio's time in the band. Secondly, you can see the eighties and nineties impact of Hard Rock that was so popular and that knew how to mark a great path for bands; and finally that clear influence in terms of the roundness, speed and composition structure of the NWOBHM. Thanks to the friends of Hard Life Promotion who always have me in their thoughts to send me material that undoubtedly fills any void, they always get it right! Enjoying this great album has been very easy, highlighting that instrument that lives in the shadows...
